Impassioned/慷慨激昂的

Impassioned/慷慨激昂的/令人動容的:

The leader of the demonstration just gave an impassioned speech in the rally.

On my mind:
The two-year absence in translation/interpretation makes it more difficult for me to express myself from one language  to the other, especially in writing and speaking. It is still easy for me to understand an article through reading and listening, but it is difficult for me to express myself through writing and speaking. The word "impassioned" is a good example of my difficulty. I have no problem understanding the meaning; however, I doubt I'd ever written it. The monotonous use of vocabulary in a way limits my ability to convey my thoughts and ideas fully and properly. Guess I just have to practice more as others who learn English as their second language.
