I am fascinated by how the word was pronounced and spell. Weird, right? Sometimes you are into one word than another for no reason. What word are you obsessed with?

On my mind:
When I checked wrap dress online, it turned out that there are more terminologies related to dresses in different styles. It is a bit difficult for me to memorize them all at once, but I will try to share more later.

Sample vs. swatch

Sample and swatch，中文都叫樣本或樣品，但sample比較是通稱，swatch則常用來指被裁成小塊布(常集結成冊)的樣品布，或者印刷業，用來比對顏料和紙材的樣品紙或色卡:

"Swatch" is a sample of cloth used as an example to demonstrate the color, pattern, and texture of a fabric.

On my mind: 

Does anyone know that the famous watch brand "Swatch" has anything to do with the word we just learnt? 

Brow powders/眉粉

Brow powders/眉粉是女生化妝品必備品之一，以前比較常見的應該是brow pencil/眉筆，現在除了brow powders/眉粉和brow pencil/眉筆之外，也有brow wax/眉膠筆，不過這個產品我也沒有用過就是了。

On my mind:
I've tried brow powders and pencils, but have not used brow wax. The latest makeup products are getting more and more diverse and creative. It is interesting to learn new vocabulary and new products.

With a golden shimmer sheen/金色珍珠光澤，很常在女生化妝品裡的眼影或腮紅裡看到金色珍珠光澤的說法，simmer(n.)/閃爍，sheen(n.)/光澤，我想璀璨金鑽也可以這樣說:
Jane wore brown eye shadow with a golden shimmer sheen.

Beige/灰棕色or米色

Beige到底是灰棕色還是米色？感覺差很多，但可能他們覺得這是同色系吧....

Shapewear/塑身衣

Shapewear/塑身衣，會不會覺得跳很大，哈...今天突然看到相關的新聞，沒有想到塑身衣是這麼說的。

Additional note: girdle(n.)／束腰(n.)，因為大多數的塑身衣都有／是束腰(形式)，同步提供大家參考。

On my mind:
I have never tried shapewear before not even in my wedding. Ha...I chose dresses that I could handle without extra help. I guess I will never have chance to come across this word by wearing it. Anyhow, it is interesting to learn the word. The good news is that it is not difficult to memorize it.
