Gentrification，真是難以簡短轉譯的字彙，是一個(透過將)經濟較佳居民移到經濟較差的地區，(來)改善城市經濟較差地方環境與居住品質的過程。

Gentrification通常很受政府歡迎和支持，但經過gentrification的區域，雖然帶來較好的基礎建設和生活環境，也有助改善治安問題，但很多原本住在當地經濟環境較差的居民，也常因為無法負擔gentrification後地區的生活費，而被迫移出，也造成另外一種社會問題，目前似乎也是有些爭議的議題。

今天要來分享超專業(對我來說)的金融術語：PMI/Purchasing Managers Index/採購經理人指數，是透過新訂單、庫存、產能、訂單交貨與就業情形等面向，來呈現製造業健康狀況的指數，如果指數在50以上，表示經濟狀況擴張，50以下則有衰退情形，指數在50上下，則表示經濟在擴張或衰退邊緣囉！
