Gentrification

Gentrification，真是難以簡短轉譯的字彙，是一個(透過將)經濟較佳居民移到經濟較差的地區，(來)改善城市經濟較差地方環境與居住品質的過程。

Gentrification通常很受政府歡迎和支持，但經過gentrification的區域，雖然帶來較好的基礎建設和生活環境，也有助改善治安問題，但很多原本住在當地經濟環境較差的居民，也常因為無法負擔gentrification後地區的生活費，而被迫移出，也造成另外一種社會問題，目前似乎也是有些爭議的議題。

摩天大廈/摩天大樓/Skyscraper....也是一個我很常拼不出來的字，最近真的太少用(screaming)，剛剛非常多此一舉得查了一下scraper，想不到居然是鏟土機或刨刀/刨泥器，像天一樣高的剷土機，哈...雖然英文字不總是能拆開來看，但還蠻有趣的，不知道有沒有方便大家記憶~
